When did you first start playing music?
My first instrument was piano, followed by drums and then saxophone—but none of them really clicked. That all changed when I picked up the bass guitar at 13. Something just felt right, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What instruments can you play?
I can play guitar, bass, drums and some keyboard.
Do you play in any bands at the moment?
Yes. I currently play in an original band, Presqué Vu and two covers bands in the Lismore area.
What advice would you give to anyone new to learning an instrument?
Start playing with others as soon as you can—it’s one of the best ways to stay motivated and grow your skills faster than doing it alone.
