Matt is an experienced educator and musician. He has a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education (Primary) with experience as a classroom teacher, music tutor, show director and band member.
He lives and breathes bass guitar but also teaches electric and acoustic guitar as well as drums. He loves performing and in his spare time plays bass in one original and one cover band.

When did you first start playing music?
I started on piano when I was little, but then quickly became attached to guitar when I was about 12. I've loved music of all forms ever since.
What instruments can you play?
I can play guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, drums and keys (of varying expertise).
Do you play in any bands at the moment?
Yes. I'm currently playing in Media Puzzle, Cerberus and Apostles.
What advice would you give to anyone new to learning an instrument?
Stay diligent. Find the aspects of your instrument that you love the most and stick to them.
